Travel:
Flights from Germany to Key West are usually not direct flights. You must first book a flight to a major international airport in the U.S., such as Miami (MIA), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Atlanta (ATL). Well-known airlines such as Lufthansa, United Airlines, Delta and American Airlines offer such flight connections. From here you can book a domestic flight to Key West International Airport (EYW). Airlines like American Airlines and Delta offer connections from Miami or other US airports to Key West.

If you have a little more time and want to check out the scenic route, you can take a rental car from Miami or Fort Lauderdale Airport and drive along the Overseas Highway (US Route 1). The drive takes about 3.5 to 4 hours and offers spectacular views of the Florida Keys.
