The Elan E5 is a high-performance sailing yacht that has been produced by Elan Yachts since 2013. Leider war das vorhandene Geschirr nicht sauber.
Eine Kaffeekanne wäre auch hilfreich gewesen.
Es sind nur Kleinigkeiten, ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Sehr, sehr freundlicher Checkin / Checkout. Leider hat die doch relative neue Yacht einige, wenn auch nur kleine, techn. Mängel wie defekte Fäkalienanlage, stinkende Seewasserpumpe in der Pantry, defekte Abdeckung am Außenbordmotor oder defekte Lichtschalter. In jedem Fall sollte jedoch die Beschreibung der Yacht überarbeitet werden. Das fehlende Bimini Top war mehr als nur ärgerlich - es war die ganze Woche kein Setzten des Großsegels möglich da das Bimini Top durch ein am Großbaum angeschlagenes Sonnendach ersetzt wurde. Bei 35° Grad Außentemperatur und zwei Kleinkindern ist kein Aufenthalt im Cockpit ohne Sonnenschutz möglich. Meiner Meinung nach ist hier ein Fehler in der Yachtbeschreibung, laut dem Stationsmanager (Anton) habe ich jedoch die falsche Yacht gebucht…

…bei der Rückgabe unterbesetzt, daher 4h Wartezeit, obwohl wir vor 16 Uhr angelegt haben.
Die Elan E5 ist sportlich und dennoch muss man auf Comfort im Grundsatz nicht verzichten, läuft extrem gut bei allen Winden. Ist auch für 6 Crewmitglieder noch ok, solange man nicht zuviel Proviant, Gepäck und Platzansprüce hat. Beim Essen in Cockpit wirds schon mal etwas eng. Auf den Einbau einer Klimaanlage und Heizung zu Lasten eines Wassertanks (verbleibend nur rund 250l) und Stauraum hätte man bei diesem sportlichen Boot verzichten sollen.
Der lokale Stützpunktleiter scheint aus jedem Wunsch Kapital schlagen zu wollen (5h frühere Übernahme des Boots 70 €, obwohl schon fertig), die zentral Verantwortliche Lydia gleicht dies jedoch mit Ihrer Freundlichkait und Serviceorientierung aus. Die Taxi-Gebühren u.a. für den Flughafentransfer liegen ein Drittel über den lokalen Preisen (80 statt 60 €).

Die Segel, insbesondere die Genua, war ausgelutscht, am Wind war ein Trimmen kaum mehr möglich.
Das im Umfang angekündigte Bimini war nicht vorhanden, sondern ein vom Baum abgehender Sonnenschutz, der natürlich beim Segeln nicht genutzt werden konnte. Das machen wir nicht nochmal, bei 38 Grad C und sengender Sonne ohne Schatten bei Leichtwind macht Segeln wenig Spass.
