Yacht charter Agropoli
Agropoli is located in the same bay as Salerno and belongs to the Campania region. Its old town is situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea and has a castle, a lighthouse and several torres that you can visit on a walk. It also takes you through small alleys and tunneled passages that make up the old town. Those interested in history will find an archaeological site with UNESCO World Heritage status in nearby Paestum. Even the name Agropoli derives from the Greek acropolis. In addition to three temples dedicated to Poseidon, Athena and Hera, there is also an amphitheater and other buildings from the Roman period. From Agropoli also Pompeii and Herculaneum are not far away.
