Hulhumalé Island belongs to the North Malé Atoll of the Maldives and is located near the capital island of Malé. The international airport is located on the neighboring island of Hulhulé, which is connected to Hulhumalé by a causeway. For entry, German citizens need a passport, which should still be valid for 6 months upon entry. Those staying longer than 90 days must apply for a visa before entering the country. The Ari Atoll to the west can also be included in a one-week trip. On Omadhoo, besides diving and snorkeling, a walk through the small fishing village is worthwhile. Meerufenfushi is considered one of the most beautiful islands of the Maldives.
