For divers, there are several diving areas around the cape, which stand out for their biodiversity and abundance of fish. South of Roses is another natural park - Aiguamolls del Empordà. Varied Costa Brava - Art paired with nature rich in species

The former fishing village of Cadaqués is easy to reach from Roses in a northerly direction. In this village, which is considered the most beautiful on the Costa Brava, Salavdor Dalí was a frequent guest. In the neighboring Port Lligat you can visit Dalí's residence, which is in no way inferior to the artist in its extravagance. Just under 35 km further inland, a museum is dedicated to Dalí in the town of Figueres, which he himself helped to design. The Teatre-Museu Dalí shows among other things originals of the artist. Continuing north along the coast, after rounding Cap de Creus, you will reach Portbou, the last Spanish port before the French border and thus the northern end of the Costa Brava.

Sailing south from Roses, you will experience the beauty of the Catalan coast in short and doable stages even for less experienced sailors. A must for anyone interested in history is a visit to the Empúries Archaeological Museum in the southern part of the bay. The park is the largest archaeological site in Catalonia and manages to fascinate even those who are not so well versed in history. Numerous finds from the Greek and Roman settlement of the place, ruins in good condition and especially the numerous mosaics and sculptures will remain in your memory.
L'Estartit attracts with an exceptional diving area around the nature reserve of the offshore islands Illes Medes. The fishing museum in Palamós, the second largest fishing port in Catalonia, offers a good overview of the development of fishing and is worth a visit not only for anglers. Enjoy a swim in the warm water at one of the city's sandy beaches, such as Playa de la Fosca, overlooked by the ruins of the medieval fortress Castell de Sant Esteve. In the direction of Barcelona, the next port of call is Blanes, the southern end of the Costa Brava. The town is touristy and offers all kinds of amenities, such as countless cafes and restaurants, but is not too crowded. If the beach promenade is still too crowded for you, you can visit the botanical garden above the harbor and be enchanted by the biodiversity of the Mediterranean flora. From Blanes Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of the Catalonia region, is not far away.
