Yacht charter Abacos
The archipelago of the Abaco Islands belongs to the island state of the Bahamas. The archipelago has been cultivating the tradition of boat building for a long time and has developed into the tourist center and sailing meeting point of the Bahamas. Therefore it offers a good infrastructure.
Our base here is the Marina Harbourview in Marsh Harbour. Here in the third largest city of the Bahamas there are good supply possibilities and if you want to visit smaller islands, you should already provide well here.
To the archipelago belong beside the main islands Great and Little Abaco still many small islands. For divers and snorkelers there is a diverse underwater world and even the one or other shipwreck to discover, for example in Walker's Cay Marine Park or Green Turtle Cay. For anchoring, the islands have numerous harbors with good supply facilities and beautiful anchorages with white beaches and turquoise waters. On Elbow Cay, visit the enchanting village of Hope Town with its colorful colonial houses, sheltered harbor and red-and-white striped lighthouse, one of the few manually operated lighthouses in the world. At Man-O-War Cay, you can see how the traditional boatbuilding tradition still lives on.
Other islands of the Bahamas are not far, for example Grand Bahama Island north of Abaco. It, too, is one of the more touristy islands and therefore offers a wide range of sports activities, sightseeing and nightlife. To the west, the Berry Islands offer divers beautiful spots with caves and steep walls. The islands are also very popular with anglers.
