Experience with a yacht charter Montenegro originality, nature and seafaring places

Montenegro's coastline on the Adriatic Sea stretches 295 km from Croatia to Albania and is composed of cliffs and fjord-like sea bays. On land, the "black mountains", which also give Montenegro its name, characterize the coasts. The color is given by old black pine forests that grow on the mountain slopes. A quarter of the coast consists of beaches, which is ideal for swimming and sunbathing at temperatures up to 30 degrees in summer, for example at the beaches Drobni Pijesak and Trsteno. The bays hold beautiful nature and interesting localities, such as the Bay of Kotor, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the Adriatic coast, the bay winds inland like a fjord between high mountains and divides into four basins. Here, sheltered from the wind and tide, lie ancient towns of different character such as Herceg Novi, Tivat, Risan and Kotor, which invite visitors with numerous historical sights.
If you go from the bay further south along the Adriatic coast, you will reach other bays with former seafaring towns. Budva is one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic and is surrounded by several beaches. In the same bay as Budva there is also the biggest island of Montenegro Sveti Nikola and the most famous Sveti Stefan. Towards the Albanian border lies the town of Bar, whose old town is just rising from ruins and also Przno, Rose or Bigova Bay are worth a stop.
