Cas Català is a suburb of Palma. Modern and chic housing developments have been built here and it has become one of the wealthiest communities on Mallorca. It is only a short drive to the capital Palma with its many shopping opportunities, restaurants, museums and sights, but at the same time it is quieter here than in the neighboring towns. For example, in the more lively Illetas, where you can find beautiful beaches. Nevertheless, there is of course a lot to do in Cas Català. The Western Water water park with its various water slides and swimming pools is popular with families. Those interested in golf can improve their handicap at Golf Bendinat under royal patronage; King Juan Carlos is honorary president here. There is also a wide range of water sports and snorkeling on site is well worthwhile. There are many coves in the area, and three small islands, Ses Illetes, are just off the coast: Sa Caleta, Sa Torre and S'Estenedor or des Pas.
