In the bay Badia di Palma there are many beaches for swimming and sunbathing and with a wide range of water sports. In Palma you should take time for a walk through the beautiful streets of the old town and stroll to the impressive cathedral La Seu. It is the landmark of the island and due to its exposed location visible from afar. In the Gothic cathedral Antoni Gaudí has also left his mark. For shopping, the main shopping streets are located above the cathedral. In the trendy Santa Catalina district, there are nice bars, cafés and restaurants, and last but not least, there is also plenty of harbor flair, both in the large Real Club Náutico and in the smaller marinas that line up around the harbor basin.

Sailing beginners can stroll protected from bay to bay in the south and east. Experienced sailors can plan a trip around Mallorca or blue water sailing to the surrounding Balearic Islands like Menorca, Ibiza or Formentera.
