Yacht charter Pto. Palma
Also in the capital of Majorca there is a base. So if you want to spend some more days in Palma before or after your cruise, you can also start from here. The facility is new and only 10 taxi-minutes away from the airport. Due to the central location, parking, shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars are in the immediate vicinity. Sanitary facilities are also available in the marina. The city with 400,000 inhabitants has of course much to offer. In the bay Badia di Palma there are many beaches for swimming and sunbathing and with a wide range of water sports. In Palma you should take time for a walk through the beautiful streets of the old town and stroll to the impressive cathedral La Seu. It is the landmark of the island and due to its exposed location visible from afar. In the Gothic cathedral Antoni Gaudí has also left his mark. For shopping, the main shopping streets are located above the cathedral. In the trendy Santa Catalina district, there are nice bars, cafés and restaurants, and last but not least, there is also plenty of harbor flair, both in the large Real Club Náutico and in the smaller marinas that line up around the harbor basin.
Mallorca can be reached quickly and inexpensively by plane every day. Due to the mild climate, sailing in this area is possible almost all year round. Sailing beginners can stroll protected from bay to bay in the south and east. Experienced sailors can plan a trip around Mallorca or blue water sailing to the surrounding Balearic Islands like Menorca, Ibiza or Formentera.
