Pollensa is located in the northeast of the largest Balearic island Mallorca. The former fishing village of the same name is sheltered in the ten kilometer long bay of Pollensa between the peninsulas Formentor and La Victoria and is one of the best sailing areas on the island due to the stable sea wind. Only about six kilometers away is the town of Pollensa, where you can find the Convent de Santo Domingo and Ermita de Nostra Senyoras des Puig monasteries and climb the 365-step Calvary to Placa Major. The large mountain range Serra de Tramuntana in the back of Pollensa is ideal for extensive hiking.

Get to know the charming old town of Alcudia in the neighboring bay, a place that dates back to Roman times. If you have a little more time, a trip to the neighboring island of Menorca is recommended, in addition to the 550 km of varied coastline of Mallorca.
