Alcudia is located in the north of Mallorca, about an hour's drive from Palma, and is one of the oldest towns on the island. Nestled between the blue of the sky and the sea, the coastline forms a mixture of shades, with fine sandy beaches and steep rocky shores. The beach of Alcudia - the largest and probably the quietest on the island - as well as Xara, Poncet, Aucanada, Coll Baix and Ses Caletes are the most important beaches and coves on this stretch of coast. Their sometimes still untouched beauty and crystal clear water (quality mark "Blue Flag" of the EU) make Alcudia a preferred vacation destination for sailors. The modern marina "Alcudiamar" in the center leaves nothing to be desired. All important utilities like supermarket, post office, bank, restaurant, pharmacy, doctors can be reached in a few minutes.
