Yacht charter Kavala

Kavala is a port city east of Thessaloniki, but has its own airport. From Germany there are direct flights to Kavala in the main season, otherwise with change over via Athens. From here you can start for cruises in the Thracian Sea with its green islands and the coast of Macedonia. In the city you can take a walk along the busy harbor promenade with cafes, restaurants and bars or stroll through the small streets of the old town. Above the old town towers a well-preserved Byzantine castle from the 15th century. From here you have a beautiful view over the city and the bay. The aqueduct is also worth seeing. In the east there is also a small fishing port with restaurants and annexed beach. From Kavala you should also visit the island of Thasos, which is off the coast. The island is richly forested, one of the greenest islands in Greece, and has beautiful beaches along the coast. Samothrace further southeast is also green inland with oak and sycamore forests, and on hikes you pass waterfalls and natural pools. To the north is the Sanctuary of the Great Gods, which dates back to pre-Greek times and is the site of the statue of Nike, the goddess of victory, now in the Louvre in Paris. In the north of the islands you can swim in thermal baths, in the south you can relax on the beach. If you make it further to the island of Limnos, you will be rewarded with small fishing villages, a Genovese castle, sandy beaches and beautiful nature.
