Due to its proximity to the airport of Athens our yacht charter harbor Lavrion is easily accessible. From here you can reach two popular spots in Greece. Experienced crews head south to the sporty waters of Cyclades. Less experienced sailors, families or those looking for more relaxed conditions head west to the Saronic Gulf with the coastline of the Peloponnese and islands like Poros, Hydra and Spetses.

Yacht charter Lavrion
It takes only half an hour to drive from Athens airport Eleftherios Venizelos to our yacht charter base: Lavrion, an ancient silver mining town, has developed into an important port of departure for sailors wishing to visit the Cyclades. The islands are not only famous sites of ancient mythology, but today they impress among other things by their architecture characterized by simple beauty and clear forms. As a sailor you have of course the advantage to discover the beauties beyond the ferry ports frequented by day tourists! Due to the strong Meltemis, this area is more suitable for experienced crews.
Easier conditions for families and less experienced sailors as well as sailors looking for more relaxed sailing can be found more to the west of Athens and Lavrion. Recommended are therefore cruises to the Saronic and Argolic gulfs, which also contain a number of islands, and the coast of the Peloponnese. Also for shorter cruises of one week this area is very suitable. The islands of Poros and Hydra with their eponymous capitals have beautiful old towns to explore. The small island Dokos has hardly any inhabitants and many anchor bays to relax. Excursions inland to ancient sites are also worthwhile.
Moreover, enthusiasts of culinary delicacies will not be disappointed in Lavrion as the level of quality outweighs the price. In Lavrion there are good supply opportunities and here you will find everything you need before starting your yacht charter.
