    Größter Kritikpunkt: Ein Schäkel am Großsegel war angerissen, das habe ich kurz nach Übernahme bemerkt und dem Vercharterer gemeldet. Es hieß, das sei kein Problem. Bei starkem Wind (ca. 23 kn) riß der Schäkel dann ganz durch, sodass wir das Segel nicht mehr verwenden konnten. Die Reparatur hat uns etwa zweieinhalb Tage gekostet, in denen wir nicht segeln konnten und nicht genau wussten, wann und wie es weitergeht. Dass etwas kaputt geht, ist nicht weiter schlimm, das passiert eben. Die Kommunikation mit Istion war aber nicht ideal. Es hieß immer wieder, es wird sich jemand vor Ort kümmern, und darauf haben wir dann immer wieder stundenlang gewartet, darauf habe ich im Urlaub keine Lust. Hätten sich alle beteiligten bei Istion (es waren verschiedene Base-Manager beteiligt) ernsthaft, also vor allem rechtzeitig, damit befasst und entsprechend kommuniziert, wären wir nicht zwei Tage lang in der Luft gehangen.
