Yacht charter Orhaniye
Orhaniye is a town in the southwest of Turkey and is located in the back part of the Hisarönü Gulf. In the bay there are good conditions for a pleasant sailing with mostly light swell. In short distances families and also beginners can stroll here from bay to bay, also there are enough harbors. The coast has fjord-like inlets, here you can find beautiful beaches and small fishing villages - a sign that the bay is still spared from the larger tourism, which prevails for example one bay further around Marmaris. The bays are surrounded by green mountain slopes and the clear water is good for snorkeling. On the other side of the bay is the Datca Peninsula, which is seen as the border between the Aegean Sea to the north and the Mediterranean Sea. The ancient Greeks already appreciated the peninsula for its beauty. The small town of the same name is also worth a visit. At the southern tip lies the ancient city of Knidos. If you don't mind clearing in and out, you can also visit the Greek island of Simi or take a day trip there by ferry. On the opposite side of the gulf is the Bozburun Peninsula. Here the tradition of carpet weaving is still present. If you like, you can watch the process or take a souvenir. In the town of the same name are also still built the traditional boats, the gulets, two-masted sailboats, which were used since ancient times.
For the arrival, the airport in Dalaman is the nearest. To Orhaniye it is about two hours by car from here. If you prefer to start from a bigger city and sail towards the Lycian coast, you can alternatively start from Marmaris in the neighboring bay.
