Start your Balearic cruise directly from the capital of Ibiza, Eivissa. Ibiza Town is quickly accessible and is also suitable as a starting point for shorter charters. In Ibiza there are many bays and coves, which you can approach independently from the weather conditions - ideal conditions for a relaxing yacht charter vacation. On a leisurely week trip, you can circumnavigate the island once and also include the neighboring island of Formentera. The Balearic sisters Mallorca and Menorca or the small Cabrera Islands south of Mallorca can be easily discovered during two weeks.

Yacht charter Ibiza
Around the Balearic island Ibiza there are many small and cozy bays, which can be approached depending on wind and weather conditions. In some of the bays buoys have been laid out, in many there is good anchoring ground. There are marinas in Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni and Santa Eulària des Riu. On the neighboring island of Formentera to the south, there are two marinas in the island's main port, La Savina. It is best to book early on all Balearic islands if you want to grab one of the moorings in the summer. A nice anchorage, on the other hand, is always free and, in most cases, free of charge. The only exception are the few buoy fields. The western Balearic Islands are a varied sailing area and also suitable for sailing beginners. Those who have more experience can sail further to Mallorca and Menorca. Getting to the Balearic Islands is easy, the infrastructure is excellent, there are plenty of harbors and even more good anchorages.

In Ibiza Town, or Eivissa as the locals call it, there are three marinas. Due to the airport, port traffic and party guests it is very busy here. Those who also want to experience the lively nightlife of the city will not mind. If you want to see Ibiza Town but not stay overnight in one of the marinas , you can also use the nearby Talamanca Bay east of the town as an anchorage. Nevertheless, you should take a day to visit Eivissa and, for example, take a walk through the old town with its mighty city walls to the Cathedral of Santa Maria. The city also offers all supply possibilities.
If you go from here to the northeast, you will come across many small and tiny bays. The bay Cala Llonga, which is cut deeper, offers protection. Here you can stroll along the palm-lined beach promenade into town. Santa Eulària, to the east, is more sophisticated and relaxed at the same time. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and good supply possibilities. North of Cala San Vincente you can enjoy the almost undeveloped northeast coast of Ibiza.
With Cala Portinatx you will find a large natural bay with good anchorage. Here as well as in the small side bay there are nice bathing beaches. Bars, restaurants and a small supermarket complete the picture. If you follow the coast further, you will reach the bay Port San Miguel and the smaller Cala Benirras. Depending on your preference and the prevailing wind direction, you can choose one of the beautiful bays as an anchorage.
The next part of the coast offers rugged beauty but little shelter. Only in the small Cala de Salada north of Sant Antonio you will be safe again. In Sant Antoni/San Antonio you can go shopping or spend an evening in the famous Café del Mar. At small anchorages in the southwest of the island, Cala Moli is quite idyllic, including a small beach bar. More sheltered is Cala Badella, which is a bit further, for an extended sandy beach you go further south to Cala D'Hort. From here you can see the island of Es Vedra and its little sister. You can explore the rugged rocky islands with their caves more closely, or sail further along the south coast of Ibiza and the few nautical miles over to Formentera.
