Right at the beginning of your vacation one of the great highlights of Croatia awaits you here, because our yacht charter base Skradin is located directly at the entrance of the Krka National Park. You should allow yourself plenty of time to explore the waterfalls and their lush green surroundings - unfortunately your own boat will have to stay in port for the time being. Visitors can only enter the national park by boat, bicycle or on foot. If you want to discover more, after visiting the waterfalls you can continue by boat up the Krka to the monastery island Visovac. A visit to the important Franciscan monastery, founded as early as 1445, is worthwhile: on the one hand, it houses important art treasures, and on the other hand, it is simply extraordinarily picturesque. The small town of Skradin could hardly be better situated for a port of departure - the ACI Marina is centrally located, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés in the town. If you start your yacht charter trip from here in direction of the Adriatic Sea, the river Krka widens first to the Prokljan Lake and then ends in the town of Sibenik. From here you have the opportunity to discover for example the islands of the Kornati archipelago or to sail along the coast towards Biograd. The route south to the Central Dalmatian islands is also easy to do from Skradin. Have fun!
