Yacht charter Tribunj
Your yacht charter Tribunj will take you to a picturesque little fishing village on one of the cleanest stretches of the Adriatic Sea. The first mention of the settlement dates back to the 15th century, the first settlers settled on a small island off the coast, which was later connected to the mainland by a stone bridge. Today, the modern part of Tribunj extends there. A highlight is the return of the fishermen at sunset, the fresh fish is offered for sale on the promenade directly from the boats, so that the promenade is occasionally transformed into a fish market. During the day, you can enjoy the view of the sea in numerous cafés along the promenade. Also for the physical well-being is provided here, especially fish and seafood can be found on the menus, there is something for every taste. For example, a traditionally prepared peka, cooked under a cast-iron bell in the embers of a fireplace.
The marina is located directly across from the historic Old Town on the mainland. Shortly after its opening in 2004, this marina was awarded the Blue Flag, an environmental badge from the field of sustainable tourism, and has been able to maintain this status to this day.
Traditional culture in a beautiful natural setting
In addition to an attractive town center, Tribunj also offers cultural sights inland away from the sea. Well-developed cycling and hiking trails lead into the inland and invite you to discover the wonders of nature, characterized by vineyards and olive groves. In the village itself, a hike to the church of St. Nicholas from the 15th century is recommended. It is located on a small hill opposite the offshore island. One is rewarded with a breathtaking view over the town and the sea. Especially the sunsets are a popular spectacle. The Krka National Park is easily accessible from Tribunj and rewards the visitor with its waterfalls and untouched nature.
In August every year Tribunj hosts the traditional donkey race. The course leads around the historic town center. The race is a well-known event beyond the borders of Tribunj and attracts many visitors every year. The spectacle is accompanied by music and good food.
