Yacht charter Little and Great Belt

The Little and the Great Belt around the island of Funen are the most popular sailing area in Denmark. From our yacht charter locations Dyvig, Aabenraa and Augustenborg you can sail north through the Little Belt between Jutland and Funen to circumnavigate Funen - or head straight for the Danish South Sea.

In the north of Fyn, the beautiful bathing beaches Bogenses are ideal for an excursion. If you want to sail a bit further out into the Kattegat, you can head for the island of Samsø, where several harbors await the sailor. Of course, it is also possible to sail further north, e.g. to Anholt or Læsø.

To see Denmark's third largest city, Odense, a detour to Odense Fjord, a wildlife reserve with a large bird population, is a good idea. Alternatively, head for the cape at the northeastern tip of Funen, which makes for a beautiful natural harbor. As a next port on the round Fyn route or as a starting point of a cruise we recommend the yacht charter base Kerteminde with its charming location between Baltic Sea and fjord. Worth seeing is here in particular the aquarium Fjord & Belt Centrum with its seal and porpoise sanctuary.

After crossing the Great Belt Bridge you can choose: From here, you can dive directly into the beauties of the Danish South Sea and complete the circumnavigation of Funen, or turn east first, perhaps to the beautiful small island of Agersø for a nature-oriented bathing stay. Or continue to the islands of Femø, Fejø or Askø north of Lolland, up to Møn or even up to Copenhagen. If you continue your trip along the coast of Funen, you can stop off at one of Langeland's harbors, e.g. the old fishing port of Dagelökke. After sailing through the charming Svendborg Sund, Svenborg itself once again offers all the urban amenities.

The "South Sea Islands", on the other hand, are nothing but idyllic: more than a small town and a harbor or anchorage rarely disturb the tranquility of the sparsely populated islets. Only the larger island of Ærø has a more pronounced tourist infrastructure. Especially beautiful here is Ærøskøbing with its gorgeous old town. If you haven't been there yet, don't miss the highlight "Danish South Sea".

Whether you sail directly to this beautiful and diverse Baltic Sea region from one of the yacht charter harbors and spend here a relaxing family vacation, or you integrate it in a round trip around Fyn or a longer cruise, you will be impressed by the water landscape of sandbanks, small and large islands. Due to its well developed infrastructure, the South Fyn Archipelago is also well suited for beginners. In the port of Sønderburg many others important services are offered for a yacht charter: e.g. the range of water sports in the marina is diverse and various.
