Heading north to the archipelago of La Maddalena, you'll pass the vacation spot of the rich and famous Porto Cervo, Capo Ferro with its lighthouse active since 1861, and Poltu Quatu, located in a deep bay.

Sailing on Sardinia's Southeast Coast

Golden eagles, buzzards and kestrels circle over the slopes and several caves invite to excursions.

In general, sailing in the Sardinian waters requires good navigational skills and a portion of attentiveness because of hidden reefs and shoals.
