Kaštela is located on the coast of central Dalmatia between Trogir and Split. The town consists of several places that were built near medieval fortifications, which were built in the 15th and 16th centuries. The fortifications are still well preserved today and worth a visit. For example, on a wine carriage tour, where you can visit some of the forts and taste wines of the region along the way. Among others, the Crljenak, an old red wine variety, for which the region is known beyond the country's borders.
Along the coastline of the towns that have grown together, there is a promenade where you can find a large number of cozy cafes and restaurants serving local cuisine. Not only fish dishes are on the menu here, but you can also try the typical dishes with lamb or with the field bean, which is celebrated every year in the spring in its honor. "After the meal you should rest, or take a thousand steps" - Kaštela also has beautiful destinations for walks. For example, the Biblical Garden Gospa Stomorija, a park around a church where trees and spices from the Bible have been planted. Or the botanical garden of the elementary school Oštro, where a total of 1400 plant species can be found on a total of 4 hectares.

When starting from Kaštela, enjoy the view of the fortresses, which stretch along the coast like a chain. Then turn to the discoveries that lie ahead on your yacht charter Kaštela.

Getting there: Coming from Munich by car, the journey ahead of you is 900 kilometers. But Kaštela is also well connected by plane. The Split Airport is only 7 kilometers away from the marina. There is a bus from the airport that goes to the marina, or you can organize a transfer through our customer area before your departure.

2 weeks: Kaštela - Šolta - Hvar - Korčula (Vela Luka) - Mljet - Šipan - Lopud - Dubrovnik - Ston - Korčula - Šćedro - Paklinski Otoci - Brač (Milna) - Kaštela

Starting from Kaštela, you will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of Central Dalmatia and also Southern Dalmatia. Just off the bay of Kaštela are the islands of Šolta and Brač, perfect for switching into recreational mode with a short blow at the start. To the west of Šolta are the bays of Maslinica and Šesula. There are anchoring facilities in both of them, so you can get to know the nature of the islands from here. In front of the bay Maslinica there are 7 small islands, which can be explored by canoe or SUP. The small beach Sipova, not far from the village, is the only sandy beach on the island. Start your vacation with the feeling of warm sand paired with the refreshing coolness of the sea under your feet.

Right next to Šolta is the large island of Brač. Especially Milna in the west of the island is a nice stop, here you can stroll along the palm-lined waterfront and, depending on your mood, stop at one of the restaurants or cafes and enjoy the typical hustle and bustle of small Croatian towns.

Hvar is a long island south of Brač and impresses with its natural landscapes and sports opportunities. Kayak tours, cycling or hiking routes - the offer is wide.

The island of Šćedro is popular with sailors because of its many well-protected anchorages. It is sparsely populated and is under nature protection. Here you will find peace and relaxation. If you don't like to cook on board, you don't have to do without a gastronomic offer. Here you will also find restaurants and konobas, which will conjure up typical local specialties on your table.

The islands of the Paklinski Otoci archipelago, stored off Hvar, are especially popular with bathing enthusiasts. Among the total of 20 small islands, there are many hidden bays, which offer good opportunities for a stop. On one of the islands, Sveti Klement, there is a marina that offers the usual supplies as well as two smaller supermarkets.

The island of Korčula is the sixth largest of the Croatian islands. To the west lies its largest city, Vela Luka. In the historical museum, the history of the land is highlighted. Among other things, there are finds from the prehistoric cave Vela Spila not far from the town.

On the island of Mljet, almost 30 kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik, you can visit the national park established in 1960. To do so, moor in the bays of Polače or Pomena. The two salt lakes of the nature park are special. For a hike, take the 12-kilometer-long path that circles the island to fully immerse yourself in the nature with Aleppo pines, oaks and holm oaks that characterize especially the western part of the island.

The island of Šipan belongs to the Elaphite archipelago. In total, this archipelago includes 13 islands, 3 of which are inhabited. Hiking, cycling or water sports - active vacationers will find here a true Eldorado of possibilities to give free rein to their urge to move far away from the boat. Especially the underwater world of the elaphite island Koločep is extremely popular with divers. The natural landscapes of the island of Lopud will not only make the hearts of nature lovers beat faster. The sandy beach in Sunj bay is especially popular with families.

Dubrovnik - also called the Pearl of the Adriatic - is located in the very south of the Croatian Adriatic coast. The city wall from the 8th century and the fortress Lovrijenac from the 11th century are impressive buildings, which still characterize the cityscape and are classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Both buildings and other places in the city served as filming locations for the series "Game of Thrones", which may make a stroll through the city appealing even for visitors who are not so historically savvy. The Pelješac peninsula is located off the coast of Dubrovnik. Oyster lovers should visit Stan. The bay has a long tradition of oyster farming, which thrives particularly well here. Enjoy a plate of fresh oysters with a glass of wine, perhaps from the Edivo winery in Drače on the peninsula, whose wine cellar is underwater.
